Osha (she/her) has a bachelor's degree in psychology at the University of New Mexico and is currently pursuing a master's in clinical social work at New Mexico Highlands University. She is projected to graduate in Spring 2024. She is trained in crisis intervention, grief counseling, and mindfulness therapy. Her focus lies in assisting individuals dealing with trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, and stress. Her therapeutic approach unitizes a person-centered, trauma-informed lens with a holistic perspective towards achieving overall wellness. Her goal is to establish a strong therapeutic alliance with clients, fostering a safe and empowering environment where they can embrace their authentic selves and let go of self-judgment. She genuinely enjoys connecting with others, meeting them at their current stage of healing, and supporting their personal growth towards self-fulfillment. Her education has focused on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) with a focus on mindfulness techniques, and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Her experience working with clients in crisis has taught her how important and impactful it is for individuals to feel seen and heard.
