SCOPE OF PRACTICE:
Osha (She/Her) specializes in working with adolescents, adults, and couples,
addressing a wide range of issues including trauma, post-traumatic stress, depression,
anxiety, autism, relationship and communication challenges, self-esteem, personal
growth, grief, and crisis intervention. Her practice is LGBTQ-friendly.
BIO:
A native of Las Vegas, New Mexico, Osha earned her bachelor's degree in psychology
from the University of New Mexico and is currently pursuing a master's in clinical social
work at New Mexico Highlands University, set to graduate in Spring 2024. Osha's
therapeutic approach integrates a person-centered, trauma-informed perspective with a
holistic outlook aimed at achieving overall wellness. Her goal is to build a strong
therapeutic alliance with clients, creating a safe and empowering space where they can
embrace their true selves and release self-judgment. She derives genuine satisfaction
from connecting with others, meeting them at their current stage of healing, and
supporting their journey towards self-fulfillment.
THEORETICAL ORIENTATION:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) with a focus on mindfulness techniques
Motivational Interviewing (MI)
Narrative Therapy
*Sessions are $50/hour for individual therapy and $60/hour for couples therapy. Unfortunately, I cannot accept insurance at this time. I anticipate being in network with BCBS, Presbyterian, United, Molina, and Medicaid this summer.
